About Aicha Yamani

Individual and Couples, Perinatal Mental Health, Anxiety,

Motherhood & Parenting, Burnout, Self Esteem, Trauma

People don’t come to therapy because life is easy, they come because something feels heavy. You might be carrying more than you expected, or simply wanting things to feel different. Whatever brings you here, this is a space where we can slow things down and make sense of it together.

With over a decade of experience as a physician in medicine and surgery, who has transitioned into a career in mental health, I bring a strong understanding of both the body and mind. I hope to help you make sense of what you’re going through with a holistic, informed perspective.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-informed Therapy. We begin with a person-centered foundation, building a strong connection and then tailoring the work to your unique needs and goals.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma, as well as those navigating motherhood, parenting, and perinatal mental health. I also work with concerns regarding relationships, self-esteem, and life-transitions, including career changes. My professional and lived experiences allow me to connect deeply and support meaningful change.

I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, being multilingual (Arabic/English/French).

If you’re looking for a therapist who will truly listen, understand, and support you, I would be happy to connect. You’re welcome to book a consultation to see if we are a good fit – it would be a privilege to accompany you on your journey toward healing.
