I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering individual psychotherapy services in-person and online. I am currently completing my practicum as part of my Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology.
I work with adolescents aged 15+ and adults from a variety of backgrounds. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for everyone I work with. I strive to work collaboratively with my clients to achieve a better understanding of the perpetuating factors related to their presenting issue. I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and multicultural issues (e.g., struggles with cultural identity, integration, and discrimination).
In my work, I draw upon several modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapies, and Trauma-Informed Care. I
will carefully tailor my approach to meet your needs.
Having lived both abroad and in Canada, I have acquired diverse life experiences. I have previously worked as an attendant to students with disabilities. Through work and lived experiences, I have gained invaluable knowledge of empowering marginalized populations. I strive to be an advocate for each of my client’s well-being. I am also Mental Health First Aid Certified. Previously, I completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology.
